Special
Interests in Nutrition
Eating should not be
complicated. After assessing a person’s health and
nutritional history, we would review appropriate
nutritional guidelines, then individualize a healthy
eating plan. There are no foods a person needs to give
up for the rest of his or her life, though some foods
should be consumed in small amounts on occasion.
Conditions that benefit
from nutritional consultation include: metabolic
syndrome, diabetes, lipid disorders (cholesterol and
triglycerides), hypertension, hypoglycemia,
gastrointestinal disorders, cancer, lactose intolerance,
food allergies, weight management, dysphagia, eating
disorders...
By achieving health and
nutritional goals, people may enjoy improved fitness,
increased energy level and a healthier quality of life.
Personal Interests
Gardening, outdoor recreation, arts and
crafts, travel, foster care.
